doing nothing and running errands

I don't have to work. The lone errand I need to run is to go to my bank and deposit my tax refund check which my mother has apparently been hoarding it in her office for quite awhile.
Anyway, now I have a whole ten dollars of Uncle Sam's money to spend. Whoop-de-do. Hope I don't waste it on anything frivolous! (Laughs at the improbability of that sentence, all the way to Waldenbooks...)
