Well, I finally got over to my campus mailbox today. I had completely forgotten to check it during exam week (as I was little more than a walking zombie), and apparently I had a surplus of letters and fun things awaiting me. jkg_vader and elvenlaughter for the lovely Christmas things they sent. J-9, just opening your card made me happy; I loved the stickers you put on the envelope. The little HP picture inside was also much appreciated. ;) Elven, the bubble bath is very yummy smelling and will be used very often at home. I am very excited about it. Muchos gracias to you both!
Everybody is coming back to campus today. I think my new suitemates are moving in also, which is prompting a lot of curiosity. They're keeping the door closed while they move, so I haven't officially seen them (or met them yet, obviously), but it should be interesting to see how this turns out. Meanwhile, I am surprisingly finished packing for the conference at Montreat. All I have to do is eat, move my car into it's proper parking lot, and then I'll be ready to go. I'm still not sure how this happened.
Anyway, starting tonight, I'll be journal silent until Sunday - we have no internet at Montreat and I probably wouldn't be able to blog about anything even if we did. So I hope all my fellow university people have a great first day of winter term and that everyone has wonderful weekends. I'll give you the full report when I get back!
