Well, I made it back alive! Though roads in BR/Boone were crazy this morning, and the Florida drivers were unfortunately, quite rampant (code: one of them nearly hit me as I was pulling into a turning lane), I survived the drive down to school.
Even this afternoon, the weather continued to be sketchy. And the wind! Between that and the bitter cold, it's very Wuthering Heights-y outside right now. Which surprises me because this is the Piedmont. It's not supposed to be15 degrees in the Piedmont! Luckily, it didn't take me very long to drag my stuff back inside, and I am now trying to warm up in the dorm before going out to DAN THAI at 6 with my lovely g-big! Can't wait for some warm panang curry to hit the spot! Yum yum.
And since I have the room to myself for another day and 1/2, it's time to go exploring and see who is around the dorms.
